We are a traditional shipyard that has been working for more than
100 years in Cuxhaven, “The Gateway Of Germany.” Our extensive
experience in ship construction and the expertise of our highly
qualified employees are the success factors of our business that make
Mützelfeldtwerft a reliable and competent partner. We complete our
projects on schedule and according to our customer's requirements
with high flexibility, cost efficiency and modern technology.
We offer 24/7 service and technical support: Our yard is a 135 m
long floating dock with approximately 7,000 tons of lifting
capabilities, various pier and mobile cranes which can lift up to 8
tons, a floating crane which can lift up to 100 tons and a quay area
of approximately 400 m by 3,000 m² of hall space provided. All
required industrial relations for new ship construction and repair
work are available locally at the shipyard.
- In the area of conversion and repair, all personnel and technical capacities are available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
- Throughout the last few decades we have evolved into a shipyard with worldwide prestige in the field of new buildings. For example, in the construction of modern deep-sea and anchor handling tugs we set the global standards.

- Cuxhaven is easily accessible. It is located at the crossroads of the busy waterways of the North Sea, German Bight and the mouth of Elbe river, close to the North Sea and Baltic canal. The shipyard is situated on the Amerikahafen. The entry and exit is not impeded by locks or gates.
